You can access the process analytics page by clicking the 'Assess' link in the top navigation, followed by the 'Analytics' link in the side navigation.
The analytics page allows you to analyse your data using a variety of filters. These are available in the filters panel on the right side of the page. The filters include the following:
- From date - choose a starting date
- To date - choose a finishing date
- Process - choose a process
- Process stage - once you have chosen a process, this filter will contain the process orders belonging to it
- Annotation status - the status of annotations eg unannotated, annotated, manually annotated, machine annotated
- Assessed by users - choose users that completed annotations
- Object class - choose one of more object classes to filter by
- Entity attribute counts - choose one or more entity attributes
The results of the filters are presented as a series of graphs. This includes:
- Files added
- Completed process files
- Object class trends
- User assessment trends
- User annotation trends
If the 'Display Word Count' checkbox is ticked, then the following graphs also appear:
- Files Added Word Count
- Submitted Word Count
Analytics Views
There are three views available on the analytics page, indicated by the three buttons in the filters section on the right side of the page. These views are:
- Activity Charts view - this is the default view for the analytics page, which is active when you first visit this page.
- Items of Interest Charts view - this button only becomes active once you have first chosen one or more object classes and one or more entity attributes, then clicked the 'Apply Filters' button.
- Map of Annotations view - this button only becomes active once you have first chosen one or more object classes and one or more entity attributes, then clicked the 'Apply Filters' button.
Once you have chosen your filters on the Activity Charts view or the Items of Interest Charts view and clicked the 'Apply Filters' button, you can then click the 'Map of Annotations view' button see those same results on a map.
Items of Interest Charts View
In this view the following charts:
- Counts
- Percentages
- Counts (statistics broken down by user)
are available for each combination of object class and entity attribute you choose in the filters.
For example, if you filter on the following object classes:
- Xarm
- Insulator
with entity attributes:
- condition_code
- material
then following charts are available:
- Insulator Condition Code Counts
- Insulator Condition Code Percentages
- Insulator Condition Code Counts (statistics broken down by user)
- Xarm Condition Code Counts
- Xarm Condition Code Percentages
- Xarm Condition Code Counts (statistics broken down by user)
Map of Annotations View
In this view you can see your files and annotations displayed on a map.
Map type
You can choose from the following types of base map by clicking the corresponding button at the top left:
- Dark (default)
- Satellite
- Streets
Filters panel
You can choose a date range to search within by dragging the handles on the date range slider. By default this shows a range of 2 years.
Eligible entity attributes
Entity attributes are eligible to be displayed in this view if they are of type 'enum' - that is, they have discrete values (as opposed to other types such as string, decimal, boolean etc).
For each of your eligible entity attributes, the filters panel shows the possible values or enums of that attribute. Tick one of more of the boxes next to these values to see annotations that contain these attribute values displayed on the map.
Tiles
Files containing annotations are displayed on the map in the form of hexagonal tiles of fixed size. If there is a tile on the map, there is one or more file in that area containing annotations that match the filter criteria.
Click a tile on the map to see the files contained in that area in the 'Items of interest' section at the bottom of the filters panel. You will see a visual representation of the file and a summary of the attributes on that file and their values.
You can also click the pencil icon in the top right of the file to go to that file in the annotation tool.
