You can save time when setting up a new assessment process by reusing taxonomy information from a previous process. This includes the following:

  1. Taxonomy configuration (including object classes and attributes), and
  2. The default search query that appears in the annotation tool

Follow these steps to copy this information from a previous process into your new process.

Select destination process

Navigate to the destination process page


Click the 'Copy Taxonomy' button

Choosing information to copy

Source process

Choose your source process from the drop-down list.

Default search query

  • Tick the box to also copy across the default search query.
  • This is the search query that will be set by default when you use the annotation tool, as shown below. In this example, the query text 'Person' will appear in the search field by default when the page is loaded. You can always clear this search query if desired.

When you click the 'Copy taxonomy' button, you will see the results of the copying process appear for a time within the same dialog box.
