Creating Your Machine Assessment Stage

If you haven't yet created your Machine Assessment Stage, you will first need to do this as follows.

  1. Navigate to your Assessment Process, and click the Stage Definition tab
  2. Scroll down to the Machine Assessments section and click the 'New Machine Assessment Stage' button
  3. Complete the form including a name and a previous stage, then click save. The previous stage is an existing stage within your assessment process, from which you want files to flow into your new stage.

Adding Tasks

To add tasks to a machine assessment stage, you will first need to create an assessment process order as described on Creating Assessment Process Orders. You can either create it as locked or unlocked. Then tasks will be added to your machine assessment stage as per the following.

  1. If your machine assessment stage is the first stage in the assessment process (after your data source), when you created the process order as above, matching files in that data source will already have been added to your new stage.
  2. If your machine assessment stage is not the first stage, files will be added to it one by one after they have been processed by the previous stage (whatever that is).

If your process order is unlocked, further files can be added as per this page Adding New Files To A Process Order and they will be passed to your new machine assessment stage as above.
